At Waterford Bank, we don’t just handle the heavy lifting for your banking needs; we also lift up our neighborhoods through dedicated volunteer and community service efforts.

Our commitment to community service is woven into the fabric of who we are, and we’re proud to spotlight some of the impactful ways we give back.

Collecting for the Ronald McDonald House Pantry

One of our favorite initiatives is supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Toledo. Whether cooking meals onsite or collecting essential pantry items, our bankers’ efforts help families stay close to their children who receive services from the Ebeid Children’s Hospital next door, without worrying about daily necessities.

This ongoing commitment ensures that families can focus on what truly matters—supporting their loved ones during challenging times.

Volunteering with Mobile Meals of Toledo

One of our longest running commitments to community service extends to providing nutritious meals to those in need.

Waterford ladies perform community service delivering meals to those in need.

Through our partnership with Mobile Meals of Toledo since 2014, Waterford Bank employees volunteer their time to deliver meals to homebound individuals. This effort not only provides essential nourishment but also brings companionship and care to our community members.

Educating Future Leaders with Junior Achievement of Northwest Ohio

We believe in investing in the future by educating young minds not just about banking basics, but also about banking careers.

Waterford team members meet with students to talk about banking.

Our involvement with JA Inspire, organized by Junior Achievement of Northwest Ohio, allows us to introduce students to the banking industry outside of the classroom. With 80+ other area businesses we host thousands of students annually in a day long career fair in Downtown Toledo.

By sharing our knowledge and experiences, in a fun and engaging manner, we inspire the next generation of financial professionals and empower students to pursue their dreams.

Supporting the Alzheimer’s Association

While we support various health initiatives, our team always enjoys coming together for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk in the fall, raising funds and awareness for this important cause. Together we complete the 2 mile loop in Downtown Toledo, to raise awareness and research funds to battle Alzheimer’s.

Waterford Bankers complete the Walk to End Alzheimer's as a team.

Leading up to the walk, we host a lunch and learn session to educate our team about various aspects of Alzheimer’s, as well as plan a company-wide fundraiser to support ongoing research and services.

Our Commitment to Community Service

At Waterford Bank, we understand that true success goes beyond financial achievements. It’s about making a positive impact in the communities we serve. Whether through collecting pantry items or delivering meals, we are dedicated to lifting up our neighborhoods.
