over $8 million in additional capital that will allow the company to continue its growth.
According to Chairman and CEO Michael Miller, “We are delighted to report that we have successfully raised over
$8 million – all of it from people in the Toledo area – which will allow us to further serve our local community. This vote of confidence
in the Bank’s future is particularly gratifying in these challenging economic times.
When we opened our doors in late August, 2007, our capital base of $27.5 million made Waterford one of the largest
community bank holding companies ever opened in the State of Ohio. This further infusion will allow us to continue our growth in terms of
both deposits and loans.”
Mr. Miller went on to comment, “We are particularly pleased that $3 million of the money raised came from the
Bank’s Directors and Staff, testimony to the confidence and determination they have to see Waterford succeed.”
